How to start in "edit mode" ?

I get data into a dataset and fill my dataset with this dataset. I want my grid to open in Edit Mode when the page is loaded which consists of a label and a text box. Such that property names are stored in labels and corresponding values will be edited in in text boxes and when i update with a single button whole dataset will be updated. Thanks...

1) Set AutoGenerateColumns property of your datagrid to false 2) Define columns in your datagrid thus: '> '> 3) Catch the ItemCommand event of the datagrid fetch the values of the label and text box if it's a Update command and update the database with the new values.
