How to start programming on silverlight as i am a fresher

How to start programming on silverlight as i am a fresher to this development field.
i want to know what are all the concepts should be known to work on silverlight.

please can some body help me regarding this.

Also note that many people in India say "fresher" but you don't want to know what people whose native language is English might think what a fresher is. The best way to learn depends on you. Some people can't learn by reading a book and some people can't learn by listening to someone explaining things. The advantage of a book is that they cost a lot less than paying someone to talk about something. Using the internet, you have access to a lot of material for free (even videos). When you were young, people did not have access to so much information without paying a lot more money. You are lucky to have the resources available to you that you do; I hope you appreciate it.

1. Download Visual C# 2010 Express if you do not have it already. If you already have Visual Studio 2010 then don't worry. 2. Go to home page of this website and at the top header, click on Beginners and see Silverlight programming and Silverlight Controls section and start learning from there. 3. Go get a book. Cheers!
