How to store multiple entries of textbox and access it later

Question

Hi everyone I have 4 checkboxes and one textbox control.. User can at a time select a checkbox and make entries in textbox which should be saved. Again when a user selects another checkbox the textbox should be cleared to make new entries. Entries made like this should be saved somewhere to be able to access later to save in the database.. is this possible?

Since address has some structure you should better write a class which contains properties for all these fields including address type selected using the checkboxes. In the background keep the list (List ) of addresses added this far. Whenever you set textbox's text to the address you should add one element to this list. Once the saving phase comes you'll have all addresses available in the list. Zoran

@Zoran The 4 checkboxes are businessshiptobilltoothers. And one textbox ie txtaddress.text. User can select checkboxes to enter business address/shipto/billto/others address. The scenario here is: A user checks the business checkbox a pop up page appears which has 2 textbox to enter street and zip and has 3 dropdown controls to select citystatecountry. After entering all these values user clicks ok and all these values are displayed in the txtaddress.text. Again after he checks shipto checkbox the txtaddress.text gets cleared and a new entry in pop up is made. All these values should be saved somewhere and finally while inserting into a sql table get these values and save in table. How to do it.. screenshots are in the attachment

Do you want to have up to 4 values from textbox one value for every checkbox? Once new value with one checkbox checked is saved it overwrites previous value with same checkbox checked? If no then what is the precise logic of adding new values? Zoran

You can save them as one string. There are many ways to do this and here are some ideas: 1. CSV list 2. Length-value list (e.g. 9something5again) 3. Array of strings serialized to XML In each case string can be decoded into original array of values later. Zoran
