how to suspend the step when exception occurs

Hi I wrote a program to copy around 10 GB of data. The program contains loops and if condition. My problem is: If i get exception in the one folder I wanted to suspend current step and follows next step in the loop. Thanks allot Darma

Depending on the complexity of the code you might be able to do this using try/catch statements: foreach(string dirPath in Directory.GetDirectories(somePath)) { try { // do something with dirPath } catch(Exception e) { // if exception occurs this value of dirPath will be skipped // code to log exception if necessary } }
