How to use barcode reader in asp.net?

Question

I wanted to read barcode for stock taking process and check with the stock lying in the particular location. While scanning the barcode using bar gun system has to pass and validate the information and select the particular item from the listbox. please help me to do this as i am facing the problem if i use postback. I am not sure if you just want to recognize (read) the scanned barcode data using a programming toolkit? Or you already have the data but you want to validate the information? In all cases I know a programming toolkit (leadtools) that supports reading different types of barcodes (1D and 2D) in different programming interfaces (ASP.NET HTML5 etc.). i also like to use my own barcode reader in asp.net manage my inventory. it is easy and convenient.
