how we can display all open apps on computer

HI Friends We r making project on Cyber Cafe management and So this is very much important for us. We want to code or trick or logic anything to display all open apps of computer. So pls reply as fast as possible. Thank You.

While I haven't tried it the documentation clearly indicates that information regarding current processes on remote machines are also possible. Process.GetProcesses is overloaded to accept a string which can be a path to a remote computer so even managing a cyber-cafe is possible. Hi I don't think your solution can fulfill what he/she wants. IMO you can get the process like iexplorer maybe the application executable name... But are you sure you can use this method to display all open apps from a computer... frankly speaking it is quite confusing here... I doubt you gonna achieve that... Maybe what you assumption is to manage remote application you can start or stop or terminate or get the process details. Maybe he wants to know what program is the person in the cyber cafe is running (example IE) plus what is he looking at (since is an open app)... Geez.. i hope the author of the thread can elaborate more... But pls do correct me if i am wrong MythicalMe... maybe your solution really can work! Thanks. Cheers.

No trickery necessary. First be aware that most windows servers and workstations can have multiple instances of an application running. Each instance of an application is called a process. If you need to determine what processes are running then a call to Process.GetProcesses will solve your problem. imports System.Diagnostics private procs as Process() = Process.GetProcesses() The array proc will now contain information about every process. If you want the names iterate through the array with a for each and use Process.GetName There is a lot more information that can be gleaned from the process class. I suggest that you look at the MSDN help information.
