I am asp.net programmer and moving towards silverlight. There's a lot of design in silverlight. How important is coding in silverlight.I need to convert one of my asp.net to silverlight.I don't any idea where to start to do this.Can u please suggest me helpful tutorials to start the application.

Almost most of the coding is same in Silverlight . But in asp.net you will have aspx page and here you will have xaml. Apart from that mostly no body will write code in codebehind in silverlight. We follow MVVM pattern where we have viewmodel where we write all the event handlings. For beginners i have written few articles to start with.
