Inheritance in c#

Question

Hi friends  As we know that concept of inheritance  I want to know that inheritance is actually the concept of container-ship and to achieve the inheritance we are doing container-ship  please explain me this concept in detail because i am not getting the concept properly ? Thanks

Hi Deepak Inheritance isn't the same thing as containership. With constainership you include an object of one class as a private member of another class and then expose the public members of the contained object by wrapping them in public members of the container object. With inheritance an object not only has its own members but those inherited from its base classes. Broadly speaking the inherited members behave as though they had been declared in the child class itself. As C# doesn't support multiple inheritance sometimes you might use the two together. For example if ideally you would have liked to inherit from two classes you can instead inherit from one class and then contain an object of the other class.
