Inner join and outer join

In which place to use inner join and outer join. need an example.

I believe that Sql Inner Joins return rows when there is at least one match in both tables. The outer join (Sometimes can be referred to as just a LEFT JOIN or RIGHT JOIN) can return rows even if there are no matches in the other table. Such as if you call a LEFT JOIN (a.k.a Left Outer Join) if there are no matches in the right table it will still return rows from the left table. Hope this helps.

Suthish I understand. That happens to me a lot. It really happens often when this web site gives prizes so then the people asking questions can be vague and other people will post many attempts to answer the question by guessing what the question is. In this situation though I think the question is clear enough but it is also answered very easily by searching and simply looking at the list of artijcles in this web site.
