insrting arbic leters in Sql express 2005

Question

Hi I need your help guys. Am devolving a windows application by c#. I have problem of insert Arabic text to sql express 2005 . I always get ???? instead of the Arabic letters. I change the collation of the database field to windows collation and choose Arabic but still I get the same problem. Your help is appreciated

Hi You will have to define your columns as a unicode type (e.g. NVARCHAR see the N before the VARCHAR which indicates unicode characters) and insert the data as such like in: INSERT INTO SOMETable VALUES (N'HerecomesUnicode) --See the N before the string information inserted Enjoy!! >>Munnamax
