Integral Calculus in .net

Question

Hi all Can anybody tale me that how do i use integration in .net is there any built in facility ....if not is there any kind of solution anyone have ???.... because i have resolve an equation that equation is PT = (A/T)(1 – e-T/k2) + 1/T ?[BMR + (MAP – BMR)(1-e-t/k1)]dt In .net Or Sql Server 2005 I am not asking for providing code but if anyone can post approach for it then it will be highly appreciated. Thanks Alan for replying actualy ....I m also unable to resolve this integral in simplified form if i can i will implement it in .net....i know there no straight forward method of doing integration in .net bye

I'm afraid there's no support for differential or integral calculus in the .NET framework and sophisticated mathematics libraries which could help you to solve equations like this don't come cheap :( If it's an isolated problem it might be best to try and model it yourself in C# and use successive approximation techniques to arrive at a solution. My own knowledge of integration is probably too rusty to help you with this and in any case I'm not sure what the integral actually is because of the way it has come out in your post. However I do recall that if integration cannot be done exactly there are numerical methods (such as Simpson's method) which enable you to do it approximately.
