java script problem (Its urgent)

Question

I have two buttons one for submitt and another for clear all text box ,both are on same form.Here I am using a java script function on form submitt and another script for clear text boxes,Now problem is that when I press clear button ,form get submitted first before calling that clear function.
I want to call function that will be based on button click.

i think your clear button name is submit and therefor when you click it form has submit change your clear button name from submit to clear.... and then try............

You should use asp:button control to clear all controls and add code on form load method cmdClear.attributes.Add(OnClickjavascript:Clearmethodofjavascript();) hope this would work
