Hi Javascript for the purposes of this question is a client-side (in the browser) scripting language. jQuery is a library/framework built with Javascript. It is very popular because it (nearly universally) abstracts away cross-browser compatibility issues and it emphasises unobtrusive and callback-driven Javascript programming. AJAX (Asynchronous Javascript XML) is a method to dynamically update parts of the UI without having to reload the page - to make the experience more similar to a desktop application. HTML HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) is a widely accepted web-design language. HTML is responsible for the construction and the total output of a page. There are three sections of a decent HTML document source: Inline Internal and External. CSS CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is another widely-accepted web-design language. Unlike HTML CSS does not create anything. Instead it decorates aligns and positions (etc) elements in HTML. In a nutshell CSS takes the normal HTML output and adds a few rules to how it's actually displayed. Internet Information Services ( IIS ) – formerly called Internet Information Server – is a web server application and set of feature extension modules created by Microsoft for use with Microsoft Windows . IIS 7.5 supports HTTP  HTTPS  FTP  FTPS  SMTP and NNTP . It is an integral part of Windows Server family of products as well as certain editions of Windows XP  Windows Vista and Windows 7 .
