Hi, i am new for this forum...could u just please explain what is difference between java and java script....???

JavaScript is much more like Java than any other scripting language. For example, Java is case-sensitive whereas VBScript is not. JavaScript statements are terminated by a semi-colon, although that is optional. There are many more similarities between Java and JavaScript that don't exist for JavaScript compared to any other scripting language.

Briefly :- 1 .Java is a static, strongly typed general purpose programming language which is compiled to bytecode. The bytecode is then executed by the Java Virtual Machine which manages the memory used by the application. It is most commonly used for writing business applications. 2. JavaScript is a dynamic, weakly typed programming language, which is most often used for client-side scripting in web applications. Despite the name, JavaScript is not related to Java, though both share syntax which is strongly influenced by the C and C++ languages and run on virtually all platforms.
