JQuery Each & If

Question

Hi Folks   Will there be any performance issues with both the code ? Which one would be better ? Code 1 jQuery.each($("#" + GridID).find("[type='checkbox']"), function (index, item) {   });   Code 2:   if ($("#" + GridID).find("[type='checkbox']")) {    }   Please suggest. Any help appreciated.

JQuery.each is like a loop, but if statement is only for single element.   i think you are trying to perform some action based on the "Checkbox" status in each row of the grid.   In that case you can use $("#"+ Grid).each    function GetSelectedRows() {
$("# rowGridView ").each(function () {
var checkBox = $(this).find("input[type='checkbox']");
if ($(checkBox).is(':checked')) {
alert("Row selected");        }
});
