Just for a laugh I thought I'd post my working day.
I have been studying for 3 years completed my onc and just about to finish my 1st year of the hnc, I have been told by my boss that there will be a job opening up in R&D for a Junior Software Engineer towards the end of the hnc which will be mine. So I knuckle down and get into C# which I am studying on the hnc.
So far I have created a solution for the department I work in which all engineers use and have designed a pcb with a PIC processor and written the assembly language to read sensors on a weather station which are displayed on a UI to the user that is read from a serial port and logs data to a access database every 10 mins.
Today the Job appeared on the notice board....I applied and told that the Junior Software Engineer must have 7 YEARS experience in Delphi...LoL WTF
