Kendo UI DropDownList search result capital as well as small

Question

I have Kendo UI DropDownList having different types of data including capital & small types. I would like to search result capital as well as small. Suppose my DDL contains 1) KG 2) CM 3) Meter 4) Gram If I type 'm' then DDL should filter with records CMMeter & Gram vice versa. How can I achieve this. Thanks in advance

It's called filter means you need to create data-filter=contains then apply it in dropdown in HTML: select data-role = dropdownlist id = test data-filter = contains style = width: 100%; > option value = '1' > KG option > option value = '2' > CM option > option value = '3' > Meter option > option value = '4' > Gram option > > in JS: $( #test ).kendoDropDownList({ filter: contains  });
