Lagging .gif picture?

Question

Hey again :)

My program is split up in to forms one is the gui and one is only a picture on the other screen.
But when my gui is working (taking measurement etc. so really hard work!) the .gif picture in the
other form beginns to lag.
I enabled doublebuffered in the second form and it get better but not perfect.
Can I make it lag free or is a problem of the computer hardware?
