ListBox selected index

Question

Hi  I am working with ListBox. Even after I selected few items in it the SelectedIndex property value is showing -1. It means nothing has been selected from the ListBox. How to avoid this SelectedIndex=-1.

listBox1.SelectionMode = SelectionMode.MultiExtended; did u do this ? when selecting multiple items ?
