Menustrip form

Question

Dear friend I have a form with 'menuStrip' for menu and the form property 'IsMdiContainer' is set to 'true' so that other forms could open in the same form. But when i write something on the 'menuStrip containing form' the 'text' is shown in all other forms when i run the program. So how not to show the text in other forms and just show only in the first form or menuStrip containing form. thank you waiting for reply thanks prasanna

Hi Member 'System.Windows.Forms.Form.ActiveForm.get' cannot be accessed with an instance reference; qualify it with a type name instead the above error occured while trying to build the project for  this.ActiveForm.textbox.text=Kartik; So any other solution if yes i would like to request you to post the solution thanks prasanna

Write the text using the following property and get back to me for further doubts. this.ActiveForm.textbox.Text = karthik;//try this way which writes the text to active form alone
