msgbox appear after page refresh

Question

Hi All I've a page which do insertion of details to a database. after it has been done a msgbox will be displayed showing that 'inserted successfully'. But when I refresh the page msgbox is displayed again which is not necessary and irrelevant. Can you help me to resolve this i.e. msgbox shouldn'd be displayed after refreshing a page? Ranjani.

Hi Muralidharan Thanks for your response. How does it help in preventing the display of msgbox after refreshing a page? My problem is when back button in the browser is clicked it will repeat the last operation performed and not enter into the previous page. Can you help me to solve this?

Create a flag . Whenever you're showing the msgbox set some flag . If in the page load event / before throwing the message box check the value in the flag....
