Multitable Dataset Windows form

Question

I have been troubleshooting this Walkthrough on the MSDN about saving data to a database with multi table dataset. The save doesn't actually commit data to the database abd no error is received. I have ensured that my test project is EXACTLY like the walkthrough. I am wondering if the walkthrough is missing something.

Can someone go through this and tell me what they think? It doesn't take very long.

Hi Daniel Although I haven't tried this After you call Update on the Adapter it should commit the changes to the database. I wonder if the example has a mistake in that the AcceptChanges on the DataSet should have been called before the Update on the Adapter and not after? Either way I would step through the code where the Update is occurring and make sure no exception is being thrown. Best -Mike
