Name 'Server' not declared

hi this is kavita I m just reading a text file and code is Try filename = Server.MapPath(file_path) 'st_reader = New StreamReader( 'Dim path1 As String = ser st_reader = New System.IO.StreamReader(filename) st_reader = File.OpenText(filename) data = st_reader.ReadToEnd() data = data.ToLower() st_reader.Dispose() st_reader.Close() Catch ex As Exception End Try Return data but it gives an error Name 'Server' not declared and when I upload my site it is very very slow. can anyone help me?

thanks alan now I have add a line Public Shared Server As System.Web.UI.Page nowcode don't give me any error but still it is not map the path of file.

Are you using that code within a class which inherits from System.Web.UI.Page? If so then 'Server' should be declared as it's a Shared member of the Page class. Otherwise I'd try using Page.Server or System.Web.UI.Page.Server instead.
