Notepad Help

Question

hi!

i am working in a project of Notepad In C# window Form.

i have an some problem:

1. when i set the property of RichtextBox ScrollBar to Forced Both then horizontal scroll bar is not visible, like in Microsoft Notepad Appear.

2 i have set the richtext box dock property to be Fill but when i write text in richtext box the text after the end of Richtextbox wdth appear in the next line, while i want to appear it one line until an enter is being press, also horizontal scroll bar not appear.

3. The staus bar panel is change the postion when i mazimize the windows, how it can be control.

help me!

It's fine to ask all kind of questions and we won't ever be considering it a stupid one. And if ever there is as such I've had lots of it hehehe. For Item 3 if only I could have a graphical view of your problem I'll understand better. thanx Jan item 1&2 working nicely but there is a problem horizontal scrollbar is not appear at above the stausbar means when i click to appear status bar it appear n scrollbar not able to see? item 3 is not working properly because when i maximize the Form the panel size n staus bar size is not resize as in short windows its appear! sorry me beginner that y i ask such stupid question!

Hi Raza For Items 1&2 you should set the WordWrap Property of the richtextbox to false. By default it's set to true. For Item 3 during design-time try setting the Anchor property of the panel to BottomLeftRight So that it will always stay below the form even when the form is maximized or resized Cheers Jan
