No-Title-Bar Child form of MDI flash its title bar

Question

I created a form without title bar named frmNoTitle. I set up the form properties like: this.FormBorderStyle = System.Windows.Forms.FormBorderStyle.None; this.ControlBox = false; this.MaximizeBox = false; this.MinimizeBox = false; In the main MDI form I have a menu to open thisfrmNoTitle form. I add following code in the menu's click event: frmNoTitle frm=new frmNoTitle (); frm.MdiParent=this; frm.Show(); This works fine except that I noticed the frmNoTitle form's title bar(minmaxclos buttons) flashes for a very very short time then diappear I looks like that the program displayed the form title bar first then make it invisible. How I can get rid of it? TIA

Hell rick I set up these property in properties in the designer that will auto-added code to nitializeComponents: private void InitializeComponent() { this.label1 = new System.Windows.Forms.Label(); this.SuspendLayout(); // // label1 // this.label1.Location = new System.Drawing.Point(24 60); this.label1.Name = label1; this.label1.Size = new System.Drawing.Size(276 172); this.label1.TabIndex = 0; this.label1.Text = Please click the menu and pay attention to this form title ( It sometime flashes  + before the form displays); // // Form3 // this.AutoScaleBaseSize = new System.Drawing.Size(7 15); this.ClientSize = new System.Drawing.Size(336 305); this.ControlBox = false; this.Controls.Add(this.label1); this.Font = new System.Drawing.Font(Microsoft Sans Serif 9.75F System.Drawing.FontStyle.Bold System.Drawing.GraphicsUnit.Point ((System.Byte)(0))); this.FormBorderStyle = System.Windows.Forms.FormBorderStyle.None; this.Location = new System.Drawing.Point(100 100); this.MaximizeBox = false; this.MinimizeBox = false; this.Name = Form3; this.Text = Form3; this.Load += new System.EventHandler(this.Form3_Load); this.ResumeLayout(false); } You can produce this problem by create a Main MDI form add a menu in the menu's click event to launch a new instance of form with no-title. You kepp to click the menu to open several instance of the form. Sometimes the title bar flash before the form idsplays. Is there any way to attach file in this forum? Where are you setting the following properties? (Form Load perhaps?) this.FormBorderStyle = System.Windows.Forms.FormBorderStyle.None; this.ControlBox = false; this.MaximizeBox = false; this.MinimizeBox = false; If you arent doing so yet set these properties in the designer or in the InitializeComponents method. best regards Rick
