Open excel on winform in C#

Question

In my project I have create excel file on button click event but it opens in Microsoft office. I want to open that excel in other windows form when I click on button not in Microsoft office Excel. Please tell me how I do this??

Hi well two things come to my mind and I hope they can help you out. First you can implement an Excel interface in your WinForms application by using the WebBrowser control see here . Second you can create your own interface with a DataGridView control for example I used this .NET library for excel files as a bridge between the file and the control. It has a straightforward API for both importing and exporting excel file's data to DataGridView control . Also you can find here an example of WinForms application.

Use your favorite search engine and search for c# read excel spreadsheet . You will find plenty of examples :)
