Just change Inherits=Master

Hi check the class name of your Master.Master and assign that to Inherits and change CodeBehind to CodeFile this will solve your problem For Example: @ Master Language =C# AutoEventWireup =true CodeFile =MasterPageForHome.master.cs Inherits =MasterPageForHome %>
