provider sql network interfaces error 26 - error locating

Question

Hi i have to connect server sql db in my local system sql ... when i am using LAN connection great... when i am using reliance dongle the error will come like ...: provider sql network interfaces error 26 - error locating server/instance specified sql server 2008 i have tried lot of ways but i am not resolved this problm.. plz any have expertise on this ..plz help me...

Which server you are accessing . your laptop or pc is connected to the domain network. or else you installed SQL on your laptop or pc locally. Waiting for your reply Regards Vinodh N

Hi Vinodh thanks for u r Replay.. when the internet connect through LAN . its connected server SQL..in client machine when the internet connect through Reliance Dongle ..its not connected server- SQL..in client machine.. may i know where the problem occur.. using LAN and Reliance Dongle is there any deffernce . plz help i me
