There where three rabbits named Foot, Footfoot and Footfootfoot.
Foot, Footfoot and Footfootfoot lived on the side of a busy six laned highway.
Any how Foot, Footfoot and Footfootfoot feasted well over summer, but in the latter part, Foot, Footfoot and Footfootfoot started
running out of food. Foot pointed out to his friends Footfoot and Footfootfoot that on the other side of the highway, there was
plenty of stuff to eat.
Foot said to Footfoot "Look at all those carrots ... and lettuces mmmmmm . I'm starving".
"It's too dangerous to cross the road" said Footfoot.
"But I'm so hungry" groaned Foot.
"Me too" added Footfootfoot.
The next day Foot made a decision.
"I can't take it any more" Foot asserted " I'm going across".
" Be careful" said Footfoot.
"If you make" yelled Footfootfoot "I'll follow you".
With that Foot dashed across the highway to the median strip.
He turned and waved"I made it".
Foot waved once more, then turned and to run across to the road.
Too bad for Foot, a semi-trailer was coming down the highway at the same time and it squished him.
"Oh no" groaned Footfoot "Oh no....".
"Well" said Footfootfoot "I'm still hungry. I'm going across ! ".
"You can't" screamed Footfoot.
"Why not" asked Footfootfoot.
"Because we've already got one foot in the grave ! " said Footfoot
