I'm assuming you are storing the pictures as Image (or similar datatype) in database. If that is the case then below is the process of reading the Picture related data. 1) Create a database connection to Connect to database. 2) Write a query to retrieve the data from the database table where the pictures are stored. 3) Return the Picture data to .NET backend. 4) Have an Image Control in your Web Page and configure a .NET web page (.aspx) as it's Image Source something as ImageSource.aspx and pass the Primary Key (or some unique identifer) to this pass which could be used to retireve the data in the form of Byte array 5) In the ImageSource.aspx using the Primary key pull the data from the database and add the Byte array to response. 6) that's it. The Image will be displayed in the actualy image control. I assume you are using a Web Application. Hope this helps!
