Reflecting changes when database update

In Windows Application we get the reflections immediately when database updates. but why it doesn't possible in Web Applications...Atleast Is it possible by using MS SilverLight WCF duplex binding Call Back..If socan anybody send me simple example.. Thanking You -Chaitanya

I think it's not possible. Then somthing like you can do with WCF duplex communication only. you can go through some partial postback with update panel of ajax in asp.net. check this for partial postback

YesWithout any postback in web page i need to show the changes in the grid that page whenever database updates without using Timer control and page must not be refreshed..
