Please do let me know how to declare a variable as double in obj_DbNullHandler
ex:age= Convert.ToDouble(obj_DbNullHandler.CheckDBNullAndReturnNullablelong(drr, "age"))

CheckDBNullAndReturnNullablelong this method are you used but that method return the long so why you have used double datatype.
you have used the long obj_DbNullHandler = 0;
or if you want to declare a double then double obj_DbNullHandler = 0.0;
