Retrieving Document IDs from Doc Libarary

Question

Hi All i have got a site that has 10 Documment Libararies with each containing 10 items.how can i able to retrieve unique ID's of the documents in these Doc Libraries.Please help. Regards Sivapratap

you can use powershell script to loop through the items in the document library and get the required details out of it. This is the easiest way to do it.

Hello Sivpartap If you only want to retrive unique id by activating the feature then follow below steps for SharePoint 2010 Go to the top-level site collection. Click Site Actions and then click Site Settings . Under Site Collection Administration click Site collection features . Next to Document ID Service click Activate . An Active icon appears next to the item and the feature is activated for the current site collection.
