I see a lot of sample projects by microsoft on asp.net

it gives a wonderful detailed explanation about the projects with whitepapers. Its really good for beginners.
I was searching for a similar projects from microsoft. whihc i assume they would have defiantely released. but unfortunately i am unable to find it...
