Saving to a database on a network server
We are developing an application using VB.NET and SQL Server. We want the application to reside on a Server in a network environment with about 50 users. Some of the users may be allowed to both read and write data while some would only read the data.
Our problem is that when clients want to save data to the SQL server on the network server, application does not see the path to the database; it instead sees only the local drive.
We would be grateful if someone could help us get over the problem.
