setup program is not accessing html folder

Question

hi, I will explain in detail what is my problem here, I have developed a c# project wherein a webbrowser control accessess html pages from a folder in c: drive. it is working fine on my system, but in publish wizard there is no option to include that folder along with the project hence it is not displaying any html pages on other systems. moreover, I have tried with instalSheield and Wix also but I dont know where and how to attach that folder so that the user should able to acess html pages.   pls do the needful. @Mir I'm not sure whether Installshied or wix will have direct access to create folder on c drive.   However, I suggest not to work on the root folder directly, instead use c:\ProgramData or the Application Folder itself, sometimes working with the root drive will have permission issue.    Moreover, to have more command while creating setup and deployment, you need to upgrade your visual studio 2013 or greater, so that you can get the default setup and deployment template by installing the extension on the below link:   https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=UnniRavindranathan-MSFT.MicrosoftVisualStudio2013InstallerProjects   Hope it helps :)

hi,
folder of html files is an existing folder in c: drive. i am working with vs 2012 where setup and deployment is not there. so, i have to use either publish wizard or Wix or Instalshield.
i want the users to be able to access this folder.

Is folder in c: you are working with has been created by your application or you have used the existing folder?   If this was manually created then in your setup project, you need to create that structure and put your respective html filea there.   Why not using the default setup and deployment template instead of installshield or wix?
