should i use listview or datagridview ?

hey guys..i searched over web but i couldnt decide yet..i am developing a windows application...and i should show the records to user to delete it or to edit or new records to add..so my question is which one is more usefull for my project listview or datagridview..actually i used datagridviews before but not listview...so any suggesstion ? or what is positive or negative features of them..thans for help from now

If you are using delete edit fitter and sort options use DataGridView. ListView is just to display only when you need to show data in different views.

The ListView control is older and less flexible. It was created when Windows was converted from 16-bit to 32-bit for use in the Windows Explorer program that explores files and directories. I don't know of any advantages for using it in a .Net program. The ListView control might be useful in an unmanaged (one that does not use .Net) program since the ListView control is part of Windows but since the DataGridView is part of .Net there is no advntage of using ListView control due to being part of Windows.
