sort a items of combobox control in asp.net using Jquery?

Question

how to sort a characters of asp.net combobox.Like for example if in my combobox there are letters from a-z then if i press z then only z should be visible rest of all should not be visible and also user can not enter characters other than that my combobox contain.Is it possible ?

What is the use of Combo box having multiple options? If you hide all other options. Are you talking about auto complete text box? Have a look here
