space between words

hi.......... i want to count space between words... like if i write abc dgf ghj it will count space 2 thanks

do a String.Split by the space to an array and take its count - 1 string [] parts = abc dfg ghj .Split( ' ' ); Console .WriteLine(parts.Length - 1);
