Hi Michell sp_configure :- changes settings of Server for e.g:- 1.USE master; GO EXEC sp_configure 'show advanced option' '1'; above statement changes 'show advanced options' from 0 to 1 2.USE master; GO EXEC sp_configure 'recovery interval' '3'; above statement sets the system recovery interval to 3 minutes. SET:- it Sets the value to local variable previously created by using the DECLARE @local_variable statement. Thanks Pravin.
