SQL SERVER VARCHAR DATETIME FORMAT CONVERSION

I am having trouble converting this format in the SQL SERVER 2008 datatime format YYYYMMDD:hhmmss can someone assist me?

this is giving me an error below  failed conversion keep in mind the format thats in the database is 'YYYYMMDD:hhmmss' try this value '20111112:000000' DELETE FROM Color WHERE REPLACE(CONVERT(VARCHARColor.CreatedDateTime 102)'.''/') +' '+ CONVERT(VARCHAR Color.CreatedDateTime 108)

Now how do you set you that in a where clause I want to delete all where less than 30 days

Hi Use this query. You will get the format. SELECT REPLACE(CONVERT(VARCHAR GETDATE() 102)'.''/') +' '+ CONVERT(VARCHAR GETDATE() 108) AS [DateFormat]
