SQL to excel sheet within web application.

Dear friends I want to generate excel sheet of SQL database through a event (may be a button click) within my web application. So please give me the reference for the same. I will be very thankful of yours if you provide me step by step method cause its very urgent. Kind Regards Mufid Bagdadi
