Suggesstion for resuming career after a long gap

Hi everyone would like to know that what are the technologies in DOT NET very much in demand which I could learn.I have a gap of almost 4 years in my career as ASP.NETC#.NETSQL SERVER.Now want to start my career againso what latest technlogies I should learn to cope with todays market requirements and be able to get a suitable job.Please give me your sugesstions which will be very much beneficial to me at this stage. In general thinking is that ASP.NET MVC is the hot topic. Then there are quite a few associated skill sets such as Entity Framework JavaScript jQuery AngularJS etc. Another front is Xamarin. And yet another emerging technology is ASP.NET Core and all associated things. A fairly good understanding of databases is always nice to have.
