System Snapshots

Question

My question is do you know of a good tool/utility that compares system snapshots. Basically I want to quickly and easily see what a newly installed program changes on a system. Any Advice on a good tool that does this well would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Bob

I know Im digging this one out of the grave but this sounds like a good project to work on if anyone wanted to build an application that does this *wink* Hm... Maybe Ill work on something that does what your asking. Im a .NET developer so it would be Windows based but at least it would work on those systems.
