i have a student table with adm_no field on registration i want student label to be set to 0 after admiting a student it Add by 1 when registering the second student to pick the last adm_no and add by 1 ........No idea on how to do it proud of your answers

intitailly retrieve the last record Id. Hai Carlos kambui  use this command: -->select count(*) from student; It provides the total number of records.
