transforming table information from one table to another table using c#.net pls help me

Question

i want to transform the data from one table to another table both having same columns using C#.net.
In the same transaction say for each row their shpuld be another duplicate row with same values.Pls help
me as i require very urgently,

So you just literally have two tables exactly alike and need to copy the data from table A to table B? Are they in the same database or no? If they are in the same database you can create a single connection and execute SQL like: INSERT INTO TABLE B ( field1 field2 field3) SELECT field1 field2 field3 FROM TABLE A; If they cross databases you'll need two connections. You would pull the data in on one connection and execute INSERT INTO TABLE B... statements on connection 2. Is this helping at all or am I missing your point? I'll help if I can.
