Upload Excel sheet by using c# web application

Question

How to up upload excel sheet on server.

1.) In server machine microsoft office is not install

2.) when i try to upload by using MS intropt dll it cause error

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

If you want to use MS.Office.Interop.Excel target system must have excel installed. Ask your web provider to install excel onto server. Do let me know if it solves your problem

As you mentioned in question that MS-Office is not installed - this is the answer. Can you cross check is that instance exception related to Excel only not others. Secondly provide relevant code which throws exception.
