Values retaiing between post backs

Question

hi frnds

i have a 'registration page' and 'preview page' after entering registration details preview page wil display... i have two buttons in preview page one button for 'save' and second for 'edit' which redirects again to registration page for editing previous details....

but i click edit it redirtects to registration page but all the values previous entered are erasing...

so please tell me how to handle state managamant for my problem...

how to use query string while redirecting ...

what is the logic here?

please send me in C# codeing

obviously it will delete all the record in registration page because the entire page will load once again. You can overcome this problem in two way Tips 1: Save all the entered data in registration form in session and if you click on edit button in preview page then in pageload of registration page fill the controls from session value. Tips 2: No need to create separete page for preview create two table in your page in first table is same as your registration page and second table is same as your preview page. Bydefault hide the second table now as soon as they hit the button in registration page hide the first table and display he second table using javascript and assign all the values from first table to here ausing javascript. If you still stucked somewhere please let me know.

make Sure you have Set EnableViewState Property to True and One More thing When you redirect page From Another page it Sends Fresh request so there will be no values in TextBox But Just press back Button of Browser it will have retained Value or you can also Use Session to Store Data When you redirect you can use Session like below Code Session[textBox1] = textBox1.Text; and For retrieving Data textBox1.Text = Session[textBox1].ToString(); dont forget to mark  Do you like answer  please if answer helped you :) it will give me some credits :)
