VB Express using SQLite DataBase or Text Files

Question

Hi I'm creating my own Dungeon Master Engine (DM Engine) using Dungeons and Dragons' (DnD's) data. It's going to hold Player Characters (PCs) Campaigns and everything the campaigns will need (Monsters Non-Player Characters (NPCs) and much more). I asked my friend what would be the best way to hold all of the data. He said to put it in test files but I figure it would be better to put it in a SQLite database. Either way I'm going to use VB Express but then choose between SQLite and Text Files. The reason I want to use SQLite is because I want to see how it is. I've never used it. Well any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ya but when I put Imports System.Data.SQLite it doesn't know what it is. Over the weekend I just decided to go ahead and choose SQLite. Then I had the problem and tried to find the download to retrieve the file but couldn't . Any help on that. If not thanks for the reply anyway .

What exactly is your question? As far as whether to use SQLite or a flat file that is a no brainer use SQLite it is fast efficient and if you know how to use any other ADO.NET provider then you know how to use SQLite.
