Videos vs. Articles

Question

Recently, I have been in a confused state about should I write articles or just make videos? Advantage of videos is, it takes less time to create them but problem is, it has to be quite so I can't work whenever I want.

What do you prefer? Video or article?

Hi Mahesh sir, THis is really good post 'Videos vs. Articles'. Videos really good for understanding an concepts, work as tutor, but videos will with good explanation. In future, Videos will work proficiently . Now days, in school CD's take charge of books :)

Once I had a programming assignement and the analyst gave me specifications and tried to explain it to me. I had difficulty concentrating on what he was saying, so I told him I would read the specifications first and then ask questions. I did that and I had a question or two after doing the reading. He answered the questions and then expressed his amazement by saying "You really can read that suff" or something like that. Some people would prefer to read something and some would prefer to sit and listen. In other situations, I would have to listen to someone make a presentation but I had problems concentrating. I would say afterward that they should write it down. People would say that would be a lot more work. I don't understand that; they could just write the same thing they are saying. Or could it be that what they were saying was not worth writing? If so then that might explain why I was having difficulty concentrating on what they said. My suggestion is this. Try to write something. Make it as clear and concise as possible. Then if you want to also make a video, you already have the material to do that. Personally I rarely watch videos. They usually have a lot of extra stuff that I don't need. It is easier to find the parts that are useful for me in written material.
